St. Mary's Church: Interior

Would you say the lights are electric or gas?
Can you see the pulpit to the right of the altar. Is it still there today?
Look at the altar rail where the people knelt to receive Communion.

The layout of the church was changed in the year 1967 in line with
Vatican
ll.
Mass was no longer to be said in Latin.
The front seats were removed and the altar was moved closer to the congregation.
The priest faced the people instead of having his back to them.
Were these changes good?

They were installed in the two new wings mentioned on page 5
